At 45, I was shocked to be diagnosed with breast cancer, despite living a healthy lifestyle—exercising daily, eating clean, and cutting out flour, sugar, and alcohol two years prior. I couldn’t believe it, convinced my diagnosis was a mistake. But after 3 surgeries, chemo, and radiation, I realized it was real. Throughout my treatment, I researched how to prevent the cancer from coming back and how it even could have happened to me in the 1st A lot of the research pointed to chemicals in skincare products, so I began eliminating toxic ingredients from my routine.
I was shocked to find that many “healthy” brands were owned by companies whose main products contained harmful chemicals. And even when I found better options, I learned that microplastics were leaching into products through plastic packaging—often contaminating even “clean” skincare. Frustrated, I realized the only way to reduce my toxic load was to create and package my own skincare, one that would nourish my skin and minimize harmful ingredients.
Thus, Cheeké was born. What started as a personal blend for my skin soon became a gift for friends, and eventually, a business. The oils I created were a symbol of love and connection, and I was amazed when people began asking to buy more. I partnered with friends to build Cheeké into a company focused on healing, sustainability, and spreading love.
My personal message is not to let your body be the filter, but to filter out toxins before they enter your body.
Rather than prioritizing profit, I want to inspire others to make a positive impact on the world and each other.
My hope is that Cheeké lightens your toxic load, improves your skin, and sparks new ways of living more consciously on this planet.

My Cheeké journey began with a passion for clean cosmetics. I’ve always believed beauty should be empowering, sustainable, and kind to both people and the planet. Motherhood deepened this belief, especially when I became hyper-aware of the products my daughter used. I wanted my daughter to have skincare that was truly safe and pure. My son’s food allergy revealed the hidden risks in everyday products, motivating me to join the movement for pure, clean, and transparent skincare.
I wasn’t alone in this vision. Kerri, my friend and collaborator, shared my dream of creating transformative skincare. Together, we launched Cheeké—a line of oils designed to rejuvenate, nourish, and uplift using clean, trustworthy ingredients.
